What Is the K Case?

Hot Wheels releases its mainline cars in lettered cases throughout the year — A, B, C, and so on. The K Case is one of the later releases in the 2026 lineup, meaning it carries some of the most refined castings and colorways of the year. Each case contains 72 cars across a mix of new models and returning favorites.

What to Look For in the K Case

• Treasure Hunts – Look for the green flame logo on the card. There are typically 1–2 TH cars per case.
• Super Treasure Hunts – Spectraflame paint + Real Riders = the holy grail. Extremely limited per case.
• New Castings – The K Case often introduces fresh models that collectors haven't seen yet in 2026.
• Short Prints – Some cars appear in lower quantities per case — worth grabbing when you spot them.

• Get to stores early on restock days — K Case cars move fast
• Check the back of pegs and lower hooks where cars often get pushed back
